last-minute easter table

i’ve collected ideas for easter crafts way in advance but ended up not having anything ready for decorating our easter table. in a fast action we came up with this: pussy willows embellished with paper cut eggs and mini-ornaments. instead of dying the eggs naturally (as shown here), we went to duane reade to buy some cheep egg coloring kits. it was a success with the kids but even more fun was the eier tuetschen we did on easter sunday morning.

i wish i had made (or bought) some kind of eggs to decorate a bunch of branches. the beautiful egg trees above are from purl bee and fine little day.

clothes for eggs

we are in switzerland right now. i visited my grandma’s sister in bern. there i discovered these amazing crocheted and knitted ‘clothes’ for eggs.
